Warming up with focus on shoulder gridle, pelvis and hips will lead us through exploring movement mechanic, that helps us understand how to use our body. This approach is build upon many years of personal yoga practice and circus skills. It expands your flexibility and builds strenght. At the same time this is also a great preparation for inversions (like headstand, handstand, wheel, charthwheel) on the ground, in pairs (acroyoga) for aerial silk and slackline.

No matter how many previous experiences in aerials you have you will learn and/or refine basic climbs and keys, that are the foundation of many moves, falls and transitions. If you are a beginner you will start with basics positions just above the floor, if you are experienced you will learn new exciting moves to add to your repertoar.

In acroyoga workshop we will focus on partner inversions. As a beginner you will be surprised how inversions can become more approachable with assistance or on different parts of partners body. For more advanced practitioners we have prepared fun transitions and new entrances and trios.

What happens when Slackline meets Yoga? – Yogaline. We will explore the basics of the slackasana series such as standing, kneeling, sitting, arm balancing, lying down & getting upside down on the line. This will improve your overall strength & balance for any practice! This workshop is designed for both beginners and more experienced in both Yoga and Slackline. Regardless of your starting point you will be given different tools to find balance, such as breathing, focus, commitment, core activation. We will give you new perspective on balance between body and mind. This will give you better body awareness that will help you with other practices where good sense of balance is the foundation.

For the second slackline workshop we will focus more on standing and walking. Through that we will try to find concentration and commitment to approach in the zone of flow. Forget about your goal, find yourself in the moment!

TEACHERS

Dana Auguštin started to play with yoga back in 1990. In 2003 she finished Shivananda Yoga teacher training in Austria. The love for the movement brought her to crags and climbing. During the study at Faculty of fine arts she meet dance on aerial fabrics and started to explore the connections between movement on the fabrics and sculpturing. In  2006 she starts to study at Centre National des Arts du Cirque in France, where she goes deep into contortionism and equilibrium.
She develops personal approach on aerial fabrics and often preforms in Slovenia and abroad. She explores movement and has very unique approach and techniques to train your flexibility and strength.

Eva Brovinsky is a dedicated and attentive acroyoga teacher as well as certified YogaSlackers teacher. Through years of teaching experiences and with utmost patience, she will always serve you clear and precise instructions.
She has an eye to see and understand the mechanic of movement as a whole. She emphasizes effective technique and helps you to better connect with your senses to give you confidence and strong foundations to develop yourself as a mover. Eva’s vision is to inspire ‘ordinary’ people to become playful and explore all movements our bodies enable us to perform.
